After a long time of 4. X version, Anthare finally released a new V5 version on June 26. Anthare has not released the new version of Anthare in the internal beta yet, but we also found the download path on the official website through the QR code on the press conference, found this new scoring application, and conducted performance tests on several top SoC products:

The interface of Anthare V5 is not very different from that of the past, but because it is still in the alpha version, the whole interface is still in English. The following is the test bar ▼

Next, let's take a look at some score details of Anthare V5. We can see that the original test items UX (user experience project), RAM performance, CPU performance and graphics performance test are still retained, and the performance test of CPU single core performance is added. The single core performance is an important indicator for mobile phones. In most application scenarios, mobile phones only turn on 1 or 2 cores, so the single core performance of the mobile phone CPU plays a decisive role in daily application experience
However, the 3D drawing test of Anthare V5 has been greatly improved, greatly increasing the test pressure. In the old version of Anthare, as long as the GPU performance is not too poor, the basic 3D drawing test can achieve a score of 9000~10000, and the full score is around 10000, which does not reflect the GPU performance gap at all. This will not happen again in V5. The following figure is a new 3D test scenario ▼
Next, let's take a look at the test results of several high-end SoCs:
Samsung Galaxy S5 Boardband LTE-A (Snapdragon 805 APQ8084 2.5GHz)
The CPU single core performance score is 2001, and the CPU single core floating point score is 2385. Since this mobile phone was forced to exit during the 3D drawing test, 3D drawing test is 0 So under normal circumstances, it is not difficult to run this test on Snapdragon 805+2K mobile phones over 40000 ▼
HTC One M8 (Snapdragon 801 MSM8974AC 2.5GHz)
The CPU single core performance score is 2032, and the CPU single core floating point score is 2439, which is similar to the Galaxy S5 LTE-A, which again confirms the view that the Krait 450 and Krait 400 have the same frequency performance. M8 is close to 46000 points, which is also a relatively high score ▼
M8 has a 3D drawing score of more than 15000 at a resolution close to 1080P (virtual keys occupy a certain space), which is good. It can also be seen that the 3D drawing score limit of Anthare V5 is no longer around 10000 ▼
Galaxy S5(Exynos 5422 1.9GHz)
The total score is higher than M8. The CPU single core performance score is 1777, lower than the Snapdragon series processors. The CPU single core floating point score is 2314. Exynos 5422 mainly scores Ram performance and multi-core performance. It is estimated that "all eight cores are open" takes a lot of advantages ▼
The score of Mali-T628mp6 is 13780 at 1080P, lower than that of Snapdragon 801, which also conforms to their own performance gap. It can be seen that Anthare V5 has a stronger reference in GPU performance than before ▼
Glory 6 (Kirin 920 1.7GHz)
More than 40000 points, 1605 points for single core performance, 1923 points for CPU single core floating point performance, which is relatively low. Similar to Exynos 5422, Kirin 920 also pulls ▼ on Ram performance and CPU multi-core performance
Kirin 920 uses Mali-T624mp4 (officially Mali-T628mp4, but the performance of the two is exactly the same), and the score is close to 11000 at 1080P, lower than Exynos 5422 ▼
Millet flat plate (Tegra K1 2.2GHz)
Finally, Tegra K1, a performance monster, is brought, with single core performance score of 2043 and CPU single core floating point score of 2619. The floating point performance is outstanding. Tegra K1's super high scores come from user experience scores and good Ram performance scores. CPU multi-core performance is inferior to that of eight core chips. Another highlight is Tegra K1's "192 core" GPU, which can get more than 15000 points under the high resolution of 2048 * 1536, and is quite powerful ▼
Finally, let's look at the single comparison chart of Ram and CPU performance of Anthare V5. Because the test results will fluctuate greatly under different circumstances, the scores are only for reference (click to view the large chart) ▼
Anthare V5 has also added a new HTML5 test, which can be used to measure the web performance of mobile phones ▼
CSS test ▼
Canvas test ▼
HTML5 game test ▼
HTML5 test results (HTC M8), the scores of several flagship computers are around 10000, so we won't do a detailed comparison here ▼
