Gameloft is a name that mobile gamers must be familiar with. As an excellent mobile game company, Gameloft's games have been accompanied by the development of smart phones. Its wild drag racing, modern war, chaos and order, dungeon hunters, Iron Man and other mobile games have made players familiar with them.

Under the leadership of billionaire Vincent Bollore, Vivendi Group has continuously increased its stake in Gameloft. Until today, Vivendi Group's shareholding in Gameloft has reached 95.94% and has become the largest shareholder of Gameloft. As early as the beginning of this year, Gameloft publicly rejected the acquisition of Vivendi Group, and then the two sides had a shareholding war for several months. Gameloft also tried to protect its rights and interests through legal means, and applied to the court to terminate the compulsory acquisition invitation, but it failed in the end.

After being compulsorily acquired, Michele Guillermot, the board of directors and founder and CEO of Gameloft, said: "They can't accept the goals generated by simply implementing the strategic vision and management values of the largest shareholder (Vivendi)" and left the company collectively. After the successful acquisition, Vivendi Group announced the appointment of St é phane Roussel (Vivendi COO) as the chairman and CEO of Gameloft. At the same time, Vivendi and Gameloft also added five new members to the board of directors of Gameloft, including Vivendi's Stephen Russell and Canal+Group CEO.
