stay Mobile phone shooting We can often see an option called "Reference Guide Line" in the settings. After opening it, we will see four thin lines appear in the phone viewfinder and divide the picture into three equal parts horizontally and vertically. What role does this auxiliary line play?
This auxiliary line is called the "trisection line" or the "jiugongge" or the "zigzag line". It doesn't matter which one you prefer, as long as you know the role of this auxiliary line. This auxiliary line is a composition method evolved from the "golden section line", which is the most common composition auxiliary line.
We can see that four points are formed at the intersection of the auxiliary lines (the place indicated by the red circle). When we shoot, placing the main subjects near one or two of the four points is the most golden and beautiful.
For example:
When shooting the branches to be stretched, Xiao Bian places the main part of the branches to be photographed on the golden section point at the bottom right, leaving a large space on the left for the clear sky, so that the picture will be very comfortable. If the branch is placed in the middle, the beauty of the photo will be reduced a lot.
This method can also be applied in macro shooting. It is not necessary to place the subject in the center. Pictures taken in the center are often stiff. In addition, a certain depth of field will be obtained when shooting macro, which can also highlight the main body.
Even if you shoot a lonely tree, you can also use this composition method to shoot. If you shoot the tree in the center, can you imagine how dull the picture will be? If you want to take that tree as the subject, you should pay attention to whether the background of the tree is pure enough to highlight the subject. If the background of the trees is the disordered buildings behind or the mountains on the left, the trees will be disturbed by the background and cannot be well displayed.
And this kind of bisector composition has another advantage: it is easy to divide the scene composition area. In the above picture, the grass, trees and sky share each other, and the picture can be balanced.
Moreover, the trisection line can also ensure whether your view composition is consistent with the horizon. However, some camera software or native cameras are equipped with a level gauge, but the function of this level gauge is rare. At present, the most common one is the trisection auxiliary line.
