In terms of basic specifications, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 is built with Samsung 4nm technology. The CPU part includes one 3.0GHz Cortex-X2 super core, three 2.5GHz Cortex-A710 cores and four 1.8GHz Cortex-A510 small cores. It integrates the new generation of Adreno GPU (this generation includes GPU, and many sub units are named without digital suffixes) and the seventh generation of Qualcomm AI engine.

Qualcomm official said that commercial terminals equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 will be launched by the end of 2021, including ZTE, Xiaomi vivo、Redmi、realme、OPPO、 Yijia, Nubia iQOO、 Many OEMs and brands including Glory, Black Shark, Sony, Sharp and Motorola will use Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 platform.
