At that time, it was rumored that Huawei would launch an ink screen tablet MatePad Paper, which would be equipped with the HarmonyOS 2 system of Hongmeng. On November 24, it was reported that a Huawei ink screen tablet with model HMW-W09 had passed 3C certification.

The license date of this HMW-W09 is November 18, and the product name is directly written with "ink tablet", which is more likely to be the rumored ink tablet. On the same day, another BZT4-W19 tablet was connected to the network, and their charging specifications were 10V 2.25A, 22.5W fast charging. But the former is Huizhou Guanghong, and the latter is Heyuan Xike Communication.

E ink、 E-paper books, e-paper and ink screens can be generally considered as the same thing. The most famous application products are e-readers such as Kindle. The panel provider of e-paper books is mainly Yuantai Technology in Taiwan Province, which has the advantage of eye protection and extreme power saving. Only when the content is refreshed, the power will be consumed. The endurance is calculated by weeks, the appearance is close to the physical book, but the black and white ink screens are the main ones, and the refresh rate is low. The color electronic ink screen will sacrifice the clarity, and the actual effect is ordinary, which is still being improved.

The ink screen is small and the output is limited. The cost of large size ink screen is very high, leading to the high price of related equipment. For example, Sony's DPT-RP1 e-paper book, even though its performance and specifications are very weak, still costs more than 5600 yuan (of course, the Sony logo is also very expensive). The price of domestic 10 inch products is 2000 yuan even though the performance specifications are medium and low-end flat panel products.  

Huawei MatePad 11 ↑

As a reference, Huawei MatePad 11 using Snapdragon 865, 10.95 inch 120Hz, 2560x1600 IPS screen starts from 2499 yuan (version 6+64). It is not known whether Huawei's ink screen tablet will adopt a size similar to that of the MatePad 11 series, or whether it will support a stylus, but it is expected that the product price will be higher.
