On November 22, OPPO officially announced that it would hold a press conference for the new Reno7 series at 18:00 on November 25, which was the second update of the Reno series in the year.
According to the official videos and official website pictures, this generation of Reno has made significant changes in the design of the camera module. Since the Reno4 series, three independent vertical holes have become two larger holes at the top and bottom. The side holes are used to place other sub cameras. At the same time, the fuselage is designed as a straight frame, and a new "star rain lithography process" has been added.
As for the specific model and configuration, according to the previous blogger's "digital chat station", this Reno7 series will be divided into three types, namely, Reno7 SE, Reno7 and Reno7 Pro, all of which are FHD+90Hz OLED single hole straight screen. In other aspects, Reno7 SE will be equipped with Tianji 900 SoC, built-in 4500mAh battery and support 33W fast charge, with 64 million pixels as the main camera; Reno7 is equipped with Snapdragon 778G, built-in 4500mAh battery, 60W fast charge, and 64 million pixel main camera; Reno7 Pro is equipped with Tianji 1200 Max, built-in 4500mAh battery, 65W fast charge and 50 million pixel IMX766 main camera.
In addition, the Reno series will also use the RGBW sensor based on IMX709 on the front camera. Previously, OPPO officially said that this technology would be commercially available in the fourth quarter. It seems that the first launch is on the Reno7 series.
