On October 28, Intel officially released the new 12 generation Core desktop processor code named Alder Lake. The first models launched include i5-12600K, i5-12600KF, i7-12700K, i7-12700KF, i9-12900K and i9-12900KF.
The 12th generation Core desktop processor adopts the Intel 7 (i.e. 10nm Enhanced SpuerFin) process technology, and introduces the design of a hybrid architecture of large and small cores for the first time. Each processor contains multiple performance cores of Golden Cove architecture and multiple energy efficiency cores of Gracemont architecture, which are mainly used to enhance multi-core performance.

The core specifications of i5-12600KF, i7-12700KF, and i9-12900KF are the same as those of the above models without the F suffix, except that the UHD 770 core display is not integrated.
