On August 11, MediaTek launched two new 5G SoCs - Tianji 810 and Tianji 920.
Tianji 810 adopts TSMC's 6nm manufacturing process, integrating four 2.4GHz A76 large cores and four 2.0GHz A55 small cores, The GPU uses Mali-G57 MC2 (backward compared with the G57 MC4 specification of Tianji 800), supports LPDDR4x memory and UFS 2.2 flash memory, the screen supports a maximum resolution of 2520 × 1080 and a 120Hz refresh rate, the camera supports a maximum of 64 million pixel sensors, and the wireless network only supports WiFi 5.
The Tianji 920 also uses the TSMC 6nm process, which can basically be regarded as the overclocking version of the former Tianji 900, integrating two 2.5GHz A78 large cores and six 2.0GHz A55 small cores, The GPU is Mali-G68 MC4. Officially, it is 9% higher than the Tianji 900 game performance. It supports LPDDR5 memory and UFS 3.1 flash memory. The screen supports a maximum resolution of 2520 × 1080 and a 120Hz refresh rate. The ISP supports a camera sensor of up to 108 million pixels (with 4K HDR video recording capability). Other features include support for WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2.
MediaTek officials said that the terminal equipment equipped with Tianji 810 and Tianji 920 is expected to be launched in the third quarter of this year.
