IMX766 melee, iQOO 8 Pro Glory Magic3 Huawei P50 Pro Find X3 Simple photo comparison
IMX766 melee, iQOO 8 Pro Glory Magic3 Huawei P50 Pro Find X3 Simple photo comparison

This is a very simple photo comparison. Only a few outdoor and indoor scenes are selected to reduce the space (actually because of laziness). The contestants include the iQOO 8 Pro, Glory Magic3 Pro, Huawei P50 Pro, OPPO Find X3 Pro (four of which are IMX766 or the same level products) just released. In addition, Xiaomi 11 Ultra and iPhone 12 Pro Max are used as the yardstick.

The main purpose of the test is to simply compare the differences between IMX766, IMX766V and products of the same level. Because the hardware is very close, it can easily compare the algorithm differences between manufacturers. However, due to limited scenarios, the results are only for reference.

PS: Due to the particularity of iQOO 8 series naming, the initial remarks in the proof sheet are incorrect. However, due to the workload problem, the form of coverage is used to correct

3.5x zoom

Of the four "IMX766 like" models, the Huawei P50 Pro and Glory Magic3 Pro are both 3.5x focal length, so 3.5x is used uniformly.

The telephoto of OPPO Find X3 Pro is only triggered in the outdoor scene, and the indoor scene is the main camera cutting. While iQOO 8 Pro (2.5x) and Xiaomi 11 Ultra (5x) can trigger telephoto assisted imaging.

3.5x zoom, central amplification (the test is in the evening, the cloudy light, iQOO and OPPO ISO are all very high, leading to noise explosion)

3.5x zoom 2

3.5x zoom 2, central magnification (scenes with slightly better light have little difference)

3.5x zoom 3

3.5x zoom 3, central magnification (strong performance after glory triggers night view algorithm)

3.5x zoom 4, central magnification

3.5x zoom 5, central magnification

3.5x zoom 5, center right magnification

10x zoom

10x zoom 1

10x zoom 1, central amplification (Huawei has computational optics+black and white sub camera, 10x zoom is obviously better than the glory of the same hardware)

10x zoom 2

10x zoom 2, central amplification (Huawei has computational optics+black and white sub camera, 10x zoom is obviously better than the glory of the same hardware)

10x zoom 3

10x zoom 4, central magnification (after the light becomes worse, the glory triggers the night scene algorithm, and the performance is slightly improved)

Summary

  1. Main camera: Although iQOO 8 Pro (IMX766V) has a micro PTZ, it uses the highest shutter speed for film forming rate, which affects the film forming effect. Xiaomi 11 Ultra (GN2) and P50 Pro (766 at the same level) have the best performance, and the gap between other models is not large. The Glory Magic3 Pro is the only machine without optical anti shake, and the main camera does not seem to be adjusted properly, so I will not comment more;

  2. Ultra wide angle: This is the most obvious part of the gap. Find X3 Pro (IMX766) and iQOO 8 Pro (IMX598) are the first echelon. The iPhone's default package tail, while Xiaomi's IMX586, is really free

  3. 3.5x zoom: After all, it is a 3.5x zoom scene tailored for Huawei and Glory, which is naturally their strongest. Glory has good multi frame synthesis in weak light (white balance is hard to describe), and the effect is better than Huawei. The long focus of the Find X3 Pro is basically a device. Even the iPhone can't win, and it is obviously lagging behind;

  4. 10x zoom: This magnification is the home of Xiaomi 11 Ultra. Huawei and Glory, which have the same telephoto, have computer photography and black and white sub photography, and the effect is really better. Then came iQOO and iPhone.
