According to Android Central, the One Plus 9RT is the same as the One Plus 9R in most hardware configurations, including the same 120Hz AMOLED screen, Snapdragon 870 chip, 4500mAh battery and 65W cable fast charge.

The main upgrade is that the main camera of the rear camera is replaced by the 48 megapixel IMX586 to the 50 megapixel IMX766. The latter has a 1/1.56 inch bottom and supports full pixel omnidirectional focusing, becoming a popular choice for many flagship or sub flagship main cameras in the high-end market this year. Previously, the One Plus 9 and One Plus 9 Pro also used it as ultra wide-angle camera sensors.
