2.9x vs. 4.4x zoom
According to the commonly used 70mm and 105mm focal sections, Sony has set the Xperia 1 III long focal length at 2.9x and 4.4x magnification (after all, it is a professional pursuit). For this reason, we purposely switched the other two mobile phones to 2.9x and 4.4x zoom in this test.
The Xiaomi 11 Ultra uses the main camera digital cutting before the 3x zoom, and between 3x and 5x will call the sample of the composite 5x telephoto lens. Therefore, when the Xiaomi 11 Ultra 2.9x zoom is used, it is actually the main camera to zoom in and cut, and there is no suspense in this part. When the zoom is 4.4 times, the central area is actually a picture of 5 times the length of the focal head, and there is no suspense in this part.

Summary
Sony Xperia 1 III has its own imaging style, which I would like to call "Sowei":
The white balance tends to be bluish, like press exposure, and the contrast is slightly higher;
The HDR effect of the main camera and ultra wide angle is "turned on, but not fully turned on". The intensity is very light, and it is easy to lose dark details. The night scene photometry is loyal to the restoration of the naked eye, which is quite different from the mainstream flagship style. The main camera is active in multi frame synthesis, the daubing force is strong, the noise is well controlled, and the discrimination force is weak;
Ultra wide angle and telephoto tend to be yellowish green, and the noise reduction application is also very hard (especially after HDR is triggered). The noise points are well pressed and the discrimination is general. When multi frame synthesis is not triggered, the 4.4x zoom is significantly better than the 2.5x zoom of the iPhone 12 Pro Max, which is still far from the Xiaomi's 5x zoom IMX586.
As for which is higher and which is lower, there will be no more beeps. I think everyone knows that, after all, the gap is obvious enough
