The report reiterated that Apple's 14 inch and 16 inch MacBook Pro, which will enter mass production in the third quarter of this year, will be equipped with mini LED screens; and by 2022, mini LED screens will be rolled out on more Apple products, including the MacBook Air, which has a new design (may be colorful), and the 11 inch iPad Pro, which does not use mini LEDs this year, will be supplemented next year.

The report also mentioned that Lixun Precision, an important partner of Apple in the supply chain, will next become a new component supplier of mini LED, and it is expected that the supply proportion will reach 45% - 50% in 2022, which is expected to significantly reduce the cost of mini LED and improve the panel supply. It is worth mentioning that Lixun Precision won the assembly order of iPhone for the first time this year, and will be responsible for part of itAssembly of iPhone 13 Pro.

This year, Apple first adopted mini LED display panel on 12.9-inch iPad Pro, which gives it 1600 nits of peak brightness and 1000000:1 of contrast through more than 10000 built-in backlight beads and 2596 backlight partitions. However, the current mini LED panel still faces prominent production capacity problems.
