Recently, Counterpoint Research released the global mobile phone tracking data for the first quarter of 2021. Apple's iPhone has become the most popular model in the first quarter of 2021 with overwhelming advantages. The iPhone 12 series has 12% of the shipments, accounting for 35% of the global mobile phone revenue.
In the first quarter of 2021, the global smartphone revenue reached a record breaking $100 billion, and the main driving force is flagship phones. According to the income ranking, the top 10 high-end mobile phones (iPhone SE: I was also considered high-end) accounted for nearly 46% of the global smartphone income.
Among them, Apple iPhone has 6 exclusive seats, and three models of Samsung Galaxy S21 series have all been shortlisted. Among domestic mobile phones, only one Huawei Mate 40 Pro model was shortlisted:
IPhone 12 Pro Max accounts for 12%, iPhone 12 accounts for 11%, and iPhone 12 Pro accounts for 9%. Their three brothers alone took 32%;
Then there is a cliff fall, iPhone 11、 Samsung S21 Ultra accounts for 3% respectively;
The single iPhone 12 mini, Samsung Galaxy S21 and Huawei Mate 40 Pro accounted for 2% respectively;

If ranked by shipments, the top 10 mobile phones only account for 21% of global smartphone sales:

The aging iPhone 11 also won 2%, slightly higher than Xiaomi/Redmi's best-selling Redmi 9A (starting at 499 yuan);

I have to sigh that the sales of Apple's iPhone are very good. The Redmi and Samsung Galaxy A series, which are popular in developing countries, account for only 7% of the total sales, while the three iPhone 12 series phones account for as much as 12% of the total sales
