On May 10, it was reported that today DxOMark, the evaluation organization, released a new mobile phone battery evaluation project.
The battery evaluation items of DxOMark mainly include battery life, charging speed (including the time of full charge and charging to 80%) and battery use efficiency. There are specific test results and scores. Like the previous camera evaluation, the performance of several items will also be combined to give a total score.
At present, there are 17 models in the first batch to publish the test results (the detailed evaluation article is only available in English at present), and the highest comprehensive score is Samsung's Galaxy M51 (7000mAh battery, 25W fast charge). In terms of each sub item, the Wiko Power U30 with 6000mAh battery scored the highest in terms of endurance, and the OPPO Find X3 Neo (i.e. the domestic Reno 5 Pro+) performed the best in terms of charging. The iPhone 12 Pro Max not only did not rank at the bottom of the list as previously ridiculed by netizens, but also ranked fourth in terms of overall battery efficiency.
In general, the breakdown test data in the mobile phone battery evaluation project DxOMark has some reference value, but don't take it too seriously.
