So in the price range of about 3000 yuan, Yijia still needs a sub flagship product to expand new users and retain the original user group as much as possible. However, continuing to sell last year's Yijia 8T is more or less inconsistent with the concept of "buying new products rather than old ones", so we have today's Yijia 9R.
Packaging/appearance
The One Plus 9R still uses the one plus consistent red packaging. In addition to the mobile phone body, it contains a transparent protective case, 65W charging head, data cable, warranty card, instructions, pins and stickers.
There is no recognition on the front of the mobile phone. Now there are countless mobile phones that use such a vertical screen design with a single hole in the upper left corner. There are no fewer than five phones that hit the face of the three major brands of Europe and Canada alone. The screen is attached with a protective film when it leaves the factory.
The middle frame is made of metal, and there is still a landmark three-stage mute button on the right side of the body. There is no common plastic step between the screen and the middle frame at this price. The transition is smooth, and the sense of quality is greatly improved.
The camera module on the back highlights the recognition as a member of the One Plus 9 series to a certain extent, and is mainly characterized by independent and eye-catching lens openings. However, 9R doesn't have the Hasu logo of its two eldest brothers, and its belief is missing.

Overall, the theoretical performance of One Plus 9R is at the same level as that of iQOO Neo5, but the CPU multi-core performance is slightly lower than that of other 870 competitors.
Then there is the game test. Here we select two mobile games, "Glory of the King" and "Peace Elite".
In Glory of the King's ultra-high resolution, extreme image quality, and 90 frame mode, the average frame number of one plus 9R game is 77.1 frames, with no obvious fluctuation, but there is a slow decline process. Compared with the previously tested 870 model, the performance scheduling of one plus 9R is conservative, resulting in the low number of game frames finally presented.
The number of HDR HD frames plus 9R frames in the 90 frame mode of Elite of Peace is also low, and the second half fluctuates between 70 and 80 frames from time to time.
I feel that the current performance tuning is very green factory style. I still hope that the game performance can be more open in the future.

In terms of the screen, the 6.55-inch FHD+120Hz AMOLED on the 9R plus 8T should be the same one. The system has four built-in color modes: vivid, soft, cinema and bright. The default color temperature of vivid mode is 7090K, covering 96.9% P3 and 131.6% sRGB color gamut. The average color deviation under P3 color gamut is 3.2, and the average color deviation under sRGB color gamut is 6.4; The best color accuracy performance is soft mode, covering 98.8% sRGB color gamut, with an average color deviation of 1.4, which is basically close to 8T.

When Yijia announced earlier, it said that 9R has a built-in "Yijia's largest ever" X-axis linear motor. In terms of actual experience, the vibration of this motor is no problem. In most scenarios, such as typing, the experience is very good. That is, when the operator presses the desktop icon for a long time, the problem of strong spring will be exposed.
In terms of external amplification, the 9R is a common earpiece dual speaker. The sound quality is of mainstream level, and it can't compete with the "music mobile phone" of Mi series.

In terms of charging, the One Plus 9R adopts the 65W Warp flash charging scheme currently available in the green factory, but it is not the Warp 65T with Buff on the One Plus 9 Pro, so the charging efficiency is slightly lower. According to the actual measurement, the charging starts from 1%, the charging time is 5 minutes to 24%, 30 minutes to 87%, and the charging time is 40 minutes, which is roughly consistent with the official 39 minutes.
During the charging process, the actual peak power is 54W. After the 7th minute, the power is maintained at 24 to 30W for most of the time. The phone displays that the charge will be cut off about 2 minutes after it is fully charged.

One Plus 9R is a typical model that attaches importance to basic experience at 2000 to 3000 yuan. It is relatively balanced in terms of paper parameters, but after initial evaluation, it is found that there is still some room for optimization in terms of release of game performance and photo taking effect.
Because it was a minor change of last year's 8T, one plus 9R is not a star model that every product point can play for half a day at the press conference, but a shelf product that fills the gap in the existing product line.
