On March 1, MediaTek's sub flagship platform Tianji 1100 this year finally appeared on the GeekBench scoring database. This vivo V2072A machine has been connected to the Internet in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology before. If there is no accident, it is the upcoming vivo S9.

The vivo S9 is likely to be the first model of Tianji 1100 (after all, it will be released on March 3). It can be seen from the database that the code of Tianji 1100 is MT6891. The latter is TSMC's 6nm process, 4 * A78 2.6GHz+4 * A55 2.0GHz, and the GPU is the 836MHz Mali-G77 MC9. Vivo even provides a version with 12GB of memory.

Vivo V2072A had three runs in GeekBench, and the last test was obviously limited. The best score is 860 for single core and 3532 for multi core.

As a reference, another new model of vivo V2045 (possibly iQOO Neo5) is equipped with Snapdragon 870, Kryo 585 architecture and 1+3+4 structure (3.2GHz+2.42GHz+1.8GHz). The best results are single core 1034 and multi-core 3513.

The four 2.6GHz A78 of MediaTek Tianji 1100 are expected to be defeated by the super core of Snapdragon 870 with a dominant frequency up to 3.2GHz. However, after all, Tianji 1100 has a high frequency of large cores, and with four 2.0GHz small cores, its multi-core performance finally beats Xiaolong 870.

The performance of Tianji 1100 is between the Snapdragon 865 and the Snapdragon 870, which is sufficient for daily use. However, facing the Exynos 1080 (only a few models such as the vivo X60 are in use for the time being) and the Snapdragon 870, the single core performance is really under pressure. However, this is MediaTek. The selling point should be the price of the terminal products. This advantage may not be shown on vivo S9.
