The financial report disclosed that Nintendo achieved revenue of 1.4 trillion yen (about 86.6 billion yuan) in the first nine months of fiscal year 2020, up 37.3% year on year; Operating profit reached 521.1 billion yen (about 32.1 billion yuan), up 98.2% year on year.

In terms of product sales, 24.1 million switch consoles (including 16.77 million switches and 7.33 million switch Lites) were sold in the first nine months of fiscal year 2020. So far, the cumulative sales of switches have reached 79.87 million, more than 75.94 million of 3DS, and 532.34 million games have been sold. However, regarding whether the rumored new switch hardware platform will be launched, Nintendo President Toshiro Kokawa said that there is no relevant sales plan and arrangement in the near future.
