It does not need to light the screen backlight, and its power consumption performance will be better. The mainstream mobile phones equipped with ultrasonic fingerprint are basically Samsung's flagship. From the Samsung Galaxy S10 to the Galaxy Note20, Qualcomm's first generation ultrasonic fingerprint identification sensor is used.
3D Sonic Max Sensor
However, Qualcomm also launched the "3D Sonic Max" ultrasonic fingerprint program at the end of 2019, with a recognition area of up to 20mm * 30mm, 0.2mm thick, and a total of 600 square millimeters. It supports simultaneous double finger recognition, which is functionally close to the half screen fingerprint of the vivo APEX concept machine in 2018 (but also has not been mass produced yet).
