Handheld computer+flip screen mini notebook, released by Lenovo NEC LaVie Mini

January 11 is the annual CES Consumer Electronics Show, and there will be a large wave of new machines released next Monday. On January 7, Lenovo NEC released a new "handheld+flip screen mini notebook" LaVie Mini before the exhibition.

Lenovo took over NEC's notebook department in 2016. Recently, Lenovo began to "attack on a large scale" with NEC LaVie series products. This time, LaVie Mini is positioned as an ultra portable netbook that has disappeared from the mainstream vision for many years, similar to GPD and No.1 which still adhere to ultra portable PC products.

In terms of configuration, Lenovo LaVie Mini's bare metal machine weighs 576g, an 8-inch 1900 * 1200 flip screen, an Intel i7-1180G7 processor, 4-core 8-thread, 15W TDP, the default frequency is 2.2GHz, the maximum Remax 4.6G, 16GB memory+256GB SSD.

The Core Display of the 11th Generation Core is very strong. When the screen is small, the resolution is lowered enough to deal with most games. The LaVie Mini body only has dual USB-C ports and headphone ports, while the keyboard is a stylish 7-row design+round keycap.

In addition to its very small size, LaVie Mini also has detachable and exclusive handle accessories, and an expansion dock base (with USB and HDMI interfaces), which is similar to Nintendo's Switch. But the weight of 576g (not including the handle) should be good for playing as a handheld computer. Lenovo has not announced the price and launch time of the new machine for the time being.
