On November 24, it was reported that kacskrz, a developer on XDA, found in the system setting APP code of MIUI 12 beta recently that there were resolutions of QHD+and 3200 × 1440, which XDA said might prove that Xiaomi 11 Pro, the flagship of the new generation of Xiaomi, will be equipped with a screen with QHD+or 2K resolution.
They also cited the previous disclosure of the domestic blogger "Digital Chat Station" as circumstantial evidence, which said that the Xiaomi 11 series high configuration engineering machine uses a QHD+120Hz single hole curved screen at the upper left corner, with a four surface design similar to P40 Pro, but the upper and lower curvature is not as large as P40 Pro, and the aperture is not significantly smaller than that of the previous generation.
A code dug up by XDA previously also shows that the Xiaomi 11 Pro screen may support MEMC motion compensation, SDR content to HDR and other functions.
Xiaomi has followed the high refresh rate of 90Hz and even 120Hz on its flagship model Xiaomi 10 series this year, but it still maintains the 1080P level in screen resolution. Due to the influence of the array of Pentile sub pixels on OLED screens, the display fineness has a certain loss. It can be said that the screen fineness is not flagship.
The flagship models of Yijia and OPPO this year are directly upgraded to 2K 120Hz, which is quite ahead of Xiaomi. It can be said that the screen resolution is the last short board for Xiaomi to become a high-end flagship. Now it seems that it should be added.
