The new AMD Ryzen Embedded V2000 series includes the V2748/V2546 with 35-54W power consumption and the V2718/V2516 with 10-25W power consumption. It previously had R1000 series with 6-25W power consumption and V1000 series with 10-54W power consumption.
This type of embedded processor, packaged in BGA, is intended for micro PCs, slimming machines, HTPCs, even NAS and other devices. It can support 4-way 4K screen output with memory encryption.
The maximum number of cores in the AMD V2000 series has doubled to 8 cores, the performance per watt has doubled, the single thread has increased by 30%, and the GPU has increased by 40%. The i7-9750H and i7-10710U have been rolled over in official tests. In terms of power consumption and performance settings, AMD seems to want to stagger with the previous products. This time, there is no 6-10W TDP ultra energy-saving product.
