The vivo WATCH smart watch was officially released on September 22. As the first smart watch of vivo, the vivo WATCH is different from Xiaomi and OPPO smart watches running Android kernel. It takes a healthy route, featuring appearance and all-weather continuous monitoring of "heart rate+blood oxygen detection+calories".
In addition, the pricing method of vivo WATCH is also very special. Regardless of the size and strap material, the four versions are all 1299 yuan. We have also used it for more than half a month. Now let's report our experience.

Vivo WATCH has a complete set of sensors, including 6-axis acceleration sensor/gyroscope, 5-core optical heart rate blood oxygen sensor optical sensor, barometer, and magnetometer. It supports GPS+GLONASS+Galileo+Beidou four major satellite positioning and Jovi voice assistant, as well as NFC access card/bus card, Bluetooth song broadcast, and Alipay offline payment functions.
Both 42mm and 46mm versions are 316L precision steel watch body+ceramic watch ring (ceramic carved wire drawing)+50m waterproof. The 42mm version of vivo WATCH has only Mocha Brown and Secret Summer Orange, and the 46mm version has only Fengshang Silver and Shadow Black (only it is a fluororubber watchband, and the others are Nappa leather watchbands).
After all, it is a uniform price, so unless it is a sports user, it is recommended to use the epithelial watchband (high cost and comfortable). The 42mm and 46mm versions have different side designs, except that the screen size differs by 0.2 inches (compared with the 326 ppi of the iPhone 11/SE 2) and the endurance difference is twice. 42mm is a more elegant round button, while 46mm is a more business/sports square button.

Our vivo WATCH is the "shadow black" version of a 46mm dial, with a gray black stainless steel body+a black fluororubber strap, a ceramic dial with a laser centripetal wire drawing pattern, and a three-dimensional 46 * 46 * 10.6mm body. The round AMOLED screen has a diameter of 1.39 inches, 454 * 454326ppi, and supports AOD all-weather display.
On the back is the huge "5-core optical heart rate blood oxygen sensor" module, in the center is the heart rate sensor emitting green light, and on the top is the blood oxygen sensor emitting red light.
Vivo WATCH uses a universal detachable 22mm watchband. The touch of fluororubber is close to that of Apple Watch. It is slightly hard, refreshing and comfortable.
The body material and workmanship of vivo WATCH are very textured, which is a familiar taste of Seiko watches. There is sanding treatment on the side to control the reflection. There is no false position on the keys. The key stroke is appropriate and the feedback is hard.
Wear&Screen
The 46mm dial plate is really big, so it's hard to avoid "wow, awesome" at the beginning. I am 180 tall and thin, but I can't support such a large dial. If I like elegant style, I suggest a 42mm dial.
The weight of vivo WATCH is also at the level of Seiko watch. The naked weight of the watch body is 46.8g (excluding the watch strap), which is very weighty. Turning and shaking hands will have obvious drag inertia. The huge heart rate blood oxygen sensor fits the wrist naturally with its radian, but its area is huge, it will be a little suffocated when sweating, and the wearing comfort is general. The watchband performs very well, and all kinds of environments are very comfortable.
The AMOLED screen of vivo WATCH is familiar, just one word, gorgeous. With its own light sensor, it can automatically adjust the screen brightness:

Vivo WATCH does not limit the brands of connected mobile phones. A sports and health app can use most of the functions. Vivo WATCH uses Vivo's bus card library. Even the first generation product supports 28 bus cards as soon as it comes out, which is very sufficient. However, the embarrassment of access cards is the same as that of mobile NFC. Unless there is a smart door lock at home, or you write your own card with Xbo tool, you usually have to find the property. Its main purpose is actually to condemn products that do not support this function.
Endurance&Experience
Because RTOS is used, the vivo WATCH with 46mm dial has a strong endurance, and the official brand of vivo WATCH has a endurance of 18 days. In fact, AOD is always on (8:00 a.m. - 1:00 a.m.), heart rate and blood oxygen saturation detection are all on, and you wear a watch to sleep. It consumes about 12-15% of electricity every day, just finishing the National Day holiday for 8 days. The charging speed of vivo WATCH is slightly higher than 1% per minute. The actual charging time is a little more than 1.5 hours, and the performance is normal.
It should be noted that the 42 mm and 46 mm dial versions are 226 mAh and 478 mAh batteries, respectively, with a range difference of one time (9 days and 18 days). On the contrary, the charging speed is fast and the charging speed is long.
As the main force table, I used L vivo WATCH for more than half a month to make a brief impression: the screen is really large, the notification font is also large, and it looks comfortable, but it is easy to be seen by the girlfriend next to me (I'm wrong, how can a geek have a girlfriend?). Raise your hand quickly and sensitively, so that you may occasionally doubt the significance of AOD. The vivo WATCH has no speakers and cannot answer the phone (but can hang up). The vibration force is OK, but the vibration direction is horizontal, resulting in poor perceptibility. During AOD, the touch control will be turned off and the dial will be pressed for a long time for 5 seconds. However, it is really too active to raise the hand to light up, resulting in accidental touch. The battery life is really cool. Even if the function is fully turned on, you don't need to bring a charger for 8 days of long vacation.
Summary
Once upon a time, I also looked down upon RTOS smart watches and thought they were large bracelets. Smart watches should be like Apple Watch and WearOS devices, which can download their favorite apps and dials. Once upon a time, I also thought that even if it was charged once a day, it would not matter. Anyway, I could just charge it if I took a bath or slept without wearing a watch. But "I finally became the person I hated", and agreed with the product form that I despised before: the system of putting a bracelet in a watch was still very comfortable to use.

If it is used for fitness, it is not as light and comfortable as the smart bracelet, which can also be worn to sleep. If it's a toss, you can use Apple Watch, OPPO and Xiaomi Smart Watch (even watch to eat chicken), but the endurance and appearance are unavoidable problems.
The hardware design of vivo WATCH follows the line of precision watch, and its material and workmanship are unknown. The main test of "continuous heart rate, blood oxygen, pressure and calories" is OK. The speaker is missing, but it has little impact (mainly because there are few phone calls).
One thing to say is that the overall experience of this type of smart watch, from the Huawei GT2 series in the 1700 range to the Huami GTR 2 in the 999 range, is not too bad (mainly because there are not many core functions). The price difference of several hundred yuan will be even smaller if it is allocated to products that are used frequently for two or three years. This has led to their extremely simple shopping advice - it seems to be the way to choose.
