AMD launched RX 5300 graphics card: press GTX1650

On August 31, it was reported that AMD recently launched a new entry-level game graphics card RX 5300 on its official website home page, with an official price of 129 dollars (about 883 yuan). The benchmark product is Nvidia's entry-level GTX1650.

This RX 5300 can actually be regarded as a castrated version of the AMD mid end dessert card RX 5500 XT in terms of frequency and video memory. It uses Navi 14 GPU core and 7nm process technology. Like the RX 5500 XT, it has 22 groups of computing units, 88 texture units and 1408 stream processors.

The difference is that the base frequency and game acceleration frequency of the RX 5300 are reduced to 1448 and 1645MHz respectively, and the TDP is reduced from 130W to 100W. The video memory is reduced from 4GB GDDR6 to 3GB GDDR6, and the video memory bit width is also reduced from 128bit to 96bit.

Nevertheless, as can be seen from the comparison of game frames on the official product page of AMD, the RX 5300 with RX 5500 XT pedigree is still more than 10 to 20 frames ahead of GTX1650, with the leading range ranging from 18% to 56%. The actual performance may be closer to GTX1650 Super or GTX1060 3GB video storage version.

At present, this new card has not been launched in China, and the domestic price is expected to be around 900 yuan.
