On August 12, it was reported that nearly a year after its release, Microsoft officially announced today that its dual screen mobile phone Surface Duo with Android system will be officially launched on September 10 this year, starting at 1399 dollars (about 9719 yuan).

Surface Duo was officially released in October 2019, and another dual screen device, Surface Neo, was also on the stage.

The Surface Duo is equipped with two 5.6 inch OLED screens with a resolution of 1800 × 1350. Through the hinge structure in the middle, it can be assembled into a 8.1 inch screen with a resolution of 2700 × 1800. When it is unfolded, the body thickness is only 4.8 mm. However, compared with the folding screen mobile phone with flexible folding screen, the existence of seams makes the display effect of the Surface Duo after unfolding significantly surprising.

The Surface Duo is equipped with the flagship chip Snapdragon 855 in 2019, which has lagged behind this year because of the one year delay in its launch. It is equipped with 6GB of memory, up to 256GB of storage space, built-in 3577mAh battery, and equipped with an 11 megapixel camera that can be used for video calls or photos.

The Surface Duo is also Microsoft's first mobile phone running the Android system. Microsoft has specifically optimized the system for the dual screen feature, so that the system can achieve collaborative division of labor on two screens. For example, one of the screens can be changed into a keyboard and game console at any time.

Surface Duo will be sold in the United States through the operator AT&T, Microsoft Online Mall and e-commerce Best Buy. At present, there is no information to disclose whether the machine has landed in China.
