Compared with the competition between the two strong players in the PC processor field, the mobile SoC field is still generally in the pattern of coexistence of many strong players. Qualcomm has half of the country, and Apple, Samsung, Huawei HiSilicon, and MediaTek each occupy a certain share. Recently, the news from Slashleaks, a foreign media, said that AMD also intends to join the war, or will launch a mobile SoC called AMD Ryzen C7.

Slashleaks also posted the detailed specification disclosure diagram of this Ryzen C7 chip. According to the disclosure, Ryzen C7 will use the latest 5nm process technology of TSMC. The CPU uses eight core scale, including two ARM's latest Cortex-X1 super cores, with a main frequency up to 3.0GHz, two 2.6 GHz Cortex-A78, and four 2.0 GHz Cortex-A55; The GPU uses the four core Radeon RDNA 2, with a frequency of 700MHz, and supports optical tracing and variable rate coloring technology. It is said that its performance exceeds Qualcomm Adreno 650 by 45%, and supports 2K 144Hz screens.

In addition, Ryzen C7 also supports LPDDR5 memory, UFS3.1 flash memory WiFi 6、 Bluetooth 5.1 adopts the 5G baseband of MediaTek.

In terms of specifications, this Ryzen C7 is really amazing, but the existence of two 3.0GHz X1 cores also makes people worry about whether its power consumption performance is suitable for mobile devices. Interestingly, Slashleaks, the original source, has deleted this report.
