Meizu officially announced today that it will bring "full scene video anti shake technology" to Meizu 17 series in the subsequent OTA upgrade, which will bring more stable video shooting experience for main camera, forward camera, ultra wide angle and telephoto lens. This technology will cover full resolution and full frame rate video shooting.
For the 17 series that are not equipped with optical anti shake, this anti shake software algorithm level upgrade should be helpful to the stability of video shooting.
It is worth mentioning that Meizu has previously added a trial mode to enable 120Hz refresh rate for 17 series screens through OTA update - while 17 series screens originally only supported 90Hz refresh rate, and the same version of firmware also added DC dimming and video HDR functions.
After the release of Meizu 17 series, the official added new functions one after another through firmware update. No wonder some netizens teased Meizu today that it was "OTA in case of trouble" and "OTA in everything". I don't know whether it was the official intention to keep some eggs, or whether these functions were not finished in time when the new machine was released.
