On May 7, it was reported that Meizu has been promoting new products since the middle of April, promoting the company's new flagship mobile phone Meizu 17 series. Recently, Meizu 17 and Meizu 17 Pro were tested in Geekbench. These two mobile phones are equipped with 8GB and 12GB running memory respectively, and both are pre installed with Android 10. Meizu has previously disclosed that the new machine is pre installed with Flyme OS 8.1, which is customized based on Android 10.
The motherboard of both phones is kona, which means that the Snapdragon 865 SoC is used, so Meizu 17 series should support 5G networks. Although the Snapdragon 865 does not integrate 5G baseband, at present, the flagship phones using this SoC in China will be equipped with 5G baseband.
Meizu 17 Pro is the focus of Meizu's promotion. It supports 27W wireless charging and 40W wired charging. Its body storage is UFS 3.1, and its operating memory uses LPDDR5. The rear of the camera is equipped with four cameras. The main camera is Sony IMX686 with 64 million pixels. There is also a 3200W pixel ultra wide angle camera with 129 degrees and a "3D depth detector". The ring flash is located in the middle of the horizontal camera module.
Meizu 17 Pro is equipped with a customized Super AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 90Hz and a 32 megapixel camera on the upper right corner of the screen. Previously, it was officially revealed that Meizu 17's battery is 4500mAh, which supports 30W wired fast charging, but did not disclose the battery capacity of the 17 Pro, which should be equipped with a larger battery.
The two mobile phones will be released on May 8. The biggest highlight of the conference is the price of Meizu 17 series.
