Huawei P40 and P40 Pro rendering exposure, released in March 2020

On December 19, it was reported that OnLeaks, the god, and 91Mobiles recently exposed the rendered images of Huawei's P40 series mobile phones, including P40 and P40 Pro models.

The design of the rear camera module of the new machine seems very familiar, because the Samsung Galaxy A51, A71 and Nut Pro 3 released also adopt similar designs. In addition, the Samsung Galaxy S11 series launched next year should also use this scheme. In 2020, it seems to be a trend to use a rectangular camera module in the upper left corner of the back of mobile phones, and consumers need to adapt.

The exact shape of the rear camera module may be different, but the idea is the same. It can be seen from this that many manufacturers believe that this is the best way to install a large number of sensors in the smallest possible area at present.

It was revealed that Huawei P40 has four rear cameras, while the P40 Pro may have five. The P40 uses a 6.1-inch or 6.2-inch straight screen, while the P40 Pro will use a "waterfall screen", with the screen bent around between 6.5-inch and 6.7-inch. In addition, we found that the metal parts at the four corners of the P40 Pro go deeper into the screen than other areas, which should be to make the phone more resistant to falling.

There are many holes at the bottom of both models, including USB-C interface, SIM card slot and speaker. The power and volume buttons are on the right, and there is no 3.5mm headphone hole.

It can't be seen from the rendered image whether Huawei P40 series screens have holes or grooves, but they certainly won't use lift cameras. It is reported that these two phones will be equipped with OLED screens and support screen fingerprints. It is rumored that the screen refresh rate of P40 Pro is 120Hz, the resolution is 2K+, and the screen proportion is 92%.

It was revealed that the P40 Pro has a battery capacity of 5500mAh, supports 50W fast charging, is equipped with Kirin 990 SoC, supports 5G, and preloads the customized EMUI 10 based on Android 10. It has been officially confirmed that Huawei P40 series will be released in March next year.
