Huawei Mate Xs will be released in March 2020 with Kirin 990 5G

On October 24, it was reported that Huawei had recently held an event in Shenzhen, officially launching Huawei Mate 30 5G and Mate 30 Pro 5G in the national version. In addition to these two phones, Huawei also set the launch date of Mate X on November 15. Mate X is equipped with the previous generation flagship SoC Kirin 980. If you want to buy the Kirin 990 version of Mate X, you need to wait a while, because Huawei announced that it will launch Mate Xs in March 2020.

In terms of appearance design, Huawei Mate Xs seems to be identical to Mate X, but internally, this phone will be equipped with a newer and more powerful Kirin 990 5G SoC. The Kirin 990 uses 7nm+EUV technology and integrates 5G modems, unlike the Kirin 980 on Mate X, which requires an external modem. The Kirin 990 also provides a more powerful NPU, and the CPU is the A76 and A55 core.

At present, the official did not disclose more information about Huawei Mate Xs, and more details should be disclosed in the following months.

A few days ago, Huawei also announced a good news that its mobile phone sales in 2019 had reached 200 million units on October 22, so it launched the Mate 30 Pro 5G 200 million commemorative version, which sold at RMB 7899 for 8GB+512GB. It also announced the price of the Mate 30 series 5G version, which sold at RMB 16999 for Mate X.
