Xiaomi releases Redmi from 8800 yuan

On October 9, it was reported that Xiaomi released the Redmi 8 mobile phone in India today. It is reported that its configuration is similar to that of the Redmi 8A, but the Redmi 8 uses a new mirror glass design, with an additional camera on the back, a total of two rear cameras, and more operating memory and body storage versions.

There is a 6.22-inch IPS LCD screen in front of the Redmi 8 with HD+resolution. On the top of the fringe screen, there is an 8 million pixel self camera with aperture F2.0. The back main camera is Sony IMX 36312 million pixels, aperture F1.8, and the unit pixel size is 1.4 μ m. It supports dual PD focusing, and the secondary camera is a 2 million pixel depth sensor.

The camera of Redmi 8 supports 33 kinds of AI scene recognition, including landscape, plants, pets, etc., and there is a fingerprint sensor under the rear camera. This design is the same as that of Redmi Note 8 Pro.

The new machine is equipped with Snapdragon 439 with 5000mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging, but the packaging box is equipped with 10W charging head as standard. Redmi 8 supports FM radio, 3.5mm headphone jack, infrared remote control and P2i waterproof, and has three colors: sapphire, agate black and ruby.

Redmi 8 3GB+32GB will sell at INR 7999 (about RMB 800) and 4GB+64GB at INR 8999 (about RMB 900) on October 12.
