Love to play computer games On September 6, it was reported that the screen refresh rate of Google's new phones Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL would reach 90 Hz. Now a piece of code in Android 10 seems to confirm this.
XDA developers have been delving into the source code of the latest Android version, and found some commits related to the screen refresh rate. One described content-based fps detection, and the other described that when the device runs at 60Hz to 90Hz, there will be additional data (overlay).
However, these codes cannot prove that they are directly related to Pixel 4, because Google constantly adds content to AOSP code. Although the comments left in the submission have been deleted, the truth can still be learned by viewing the history.
XDA found that these codes added an enable/disable flag to switch the 90Hz mode, and this is only a temporary solution, which will be more suitable later. The important thing is that "the switches in the settings can only be used for P19 devices". P means Pixel, and 19 means 2019, so this function should be aimed at Google Pixel 4 series.
According to previous revelations, Google Pixel 4 will be equipped with a 5.7 inch 1080P+OLED screen and 2800 mAh battery; The Pixel 4 XL will be equipped with a 6.3 inch 1440P+screen and a 3700 mAh battery.
Both are equipped with Snapdragon 855, 6GB of memory, and running Android 10. It seems that there are three cameras on the back, including a 16 million pixel telephoto lens. The top frame of the screen is wide, and there are earphones, front single camera, and light/distance sensors inside.
