DxO Announces Samsung Galaxy Note10+5G Camera Rating: No.1 in the World

On August 13, it was reported that DxOMark, a professional camera rating agency, recently announced the camera rating of the Samsung Galaxy Note10+5G. With a total score of 1, the camera became the top of the DxOMark smartphone ranking list. The new camera won the championship in both the rear camera and the self camera. Since the difference between the 5G version and the LTE version is whether there is a 5G modem, this score also applies to the Samsung Galaxy Note10+.

Samsung Galaxy Note10+5G rear camera has a total score of 113 points, and its photo score is 118 points, only 1 point behind Huawei P30 Pro. Samsung has upgraded the camera algorithm, so that the Galaxy Note10+5G has a better photo taking effect than the Galaxy S10 5G.

DxOMark pointed out that the new machine can take good photos with a high dynamic range in a variety of light conditions. What it lags behind Huawei is taking photos in extremely low light scenes. The Samsung Galaxy Note10+5G has fast focusing speed and high precision, and the flash has also been praised by DxOMark.

The aperture of the telephoto lens of the Galaxy Note10+5G is f/2.1, which is larger than the f/2.4 of the Galaxy S10 5G. Even in the low light environment, the new machine can retain more details than earlier products, and the illusion and beauty of portrait photos have also been improved. However, the Galaxy Note10+5G has only 2x optical zoom.

The video score of the rear camera is 101 points, which is the highest at present. DxOMark believes that the 4K video taken by Galaxy Note10+shows very clear details, bright colors and wide dynamic range. Auto focusing and target tracking are fast and accurate, and support image stability. It should be noted that DxOMark does not seem to have tested the super stable mode, because it only supports 1080P, while the test of DxOMark should be 4K in the whole process.

The selfie camera of this flagship mobile phone scored 99 points, surpassing the previous selfie champion Asus Zenfone 6. The photo of Galaxy Note10+5G selfie camera scored 103 points, the video scored 93 points, and the Zenfone 6 scored 101 and 93 points.

DxOMark believes that the front camera of the camera can shoot excellent photos and videos under a variety of conditions, and its auto focus and front flash are the best at present, but there are still some shortcomings in the virtual portrait.

DxOMark has not released the score of the smaller Galaxy Note10 (LTE and 5G). Its self camera is the same as the Galaxy Note10+5G, and the rear camera has no ToF sensor. The hardware gap between the two seems small. What do you think the DxOMark score of Galaxy Note10 will be?
