Apple's 13 inch MacBook Pro has passed FCC certification: without touch bar

On July 3, it was reported by foreign media that Apple might soon launch a new MacBook Pro or laptop of other sizes. The last time Apple updated the 13 inch and 15 inch MacBook Pro was not long ago in May, bringing a more powerful processor and an updated butterfly keyboard.

It is worth noting that last time Apple only launched models with touch bars, but not updated 13 inch products without touch bars. It is reported that the latest document submitted by Apple to the FCC (Federal Communications Commission of the United States) shows a 13 inch MacBook Pro without touch bar, while the model given in the FCC document is A2159.

An FCC document also provides the visual effect of the bottom label of the new laptop. In the document, the rated voltage of the laptop is 20.3V @ 3A Max, which is about 61W. The only hint is that it is a 13 inch non touch bar model. As a reference, the 15 inch MacBook Pro is equipped with an 87W charger.

There are rumors that Apple will launch a 16 inch MacBook Pro with a thinner frame, but there is no conclusive evidence yet. It is rumored that the 16 inch MacBook Pro will not be released until this autumn, so the news will spread for a while.
