Huawei Maimang 8 will be released on June 5, with 24 million ultra wide-angle AI cameras

On June 3, it was reported that this morning, Huawei's official microblog announced that the new mobile phone Huawei Maimang 8 would be released in Chengdu on June 5.

Huawei also released three new posters. From the posters, we can see that Huawei Maimang 8 uses a 6.21-inch pearl screen, a 6GB+128GB storage combination, and three cameras on the back are 24 million pixels+16 million pixels (ultra wide angle)+2 million pixels, which are officially called AI three cameras.

After careful observation, it is not difficult to find that the back cover of Huawei Maimang 8 has a fingerprint sensor, and the bottom of the frame has a 3.5mm headphone hole and a Micro USB interface.

In addition to the above information, there is no more information about the configuration of Huawei Maimang 8. Last year, the Huawei Maimang 7 adopted Kirin 710, and the new machine may be able to use the new SoC.

Previously, foreign media reported that Huawei would release a new SoC at the end of May, but it did not. The rumored new SoC is Kirin 720. It is produced by TSMC and uses a 10nm process, which is slightly behind the 7nm process used by Kirin 980. However, it upgrades GPU and NPU (neural processing unit) than Kirin 710 and can be used for artificial intelligence and machine learning functions.
