Google responded by suspending some cooperation with Huawei: We obey the order

On May 20, it was reported by Reuters that Google would suspend other business transactions with Huawei except for hardware and software transactions covered by the open source license. This means that the next generation of Huawei mobile phones will not be equipped with Google Play Store, Gmail and other Google APPs, which will have little impact on Huawei mobile phone sales in China, but the overseas market will be hit.

Last week, the US Department of Commerce included Huawei and its 68 subsidiaries in the list of entities of the Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS). This means that American companies are not allowed to sell hardware and software to Huawei without the permission of BIS. It is reported that Google suspended some business cooperation with Huawei after that.

A source said that Google was discussing internally what services it would refuse to provide to China, while Huawei was studying the impact of being included in the list of physical enterprises. Earlier this year, Yu Chengdong, CEO of Huawei's consumer business, said that Huawei had prepared its own operating system. If Google maintains the status quo, we should be able to see the new system on Huawei Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro.

According to the Beijing News, Google responded today that "we are complying with this order and reviewing its impact". Huawei insiders also replied to the incident: "Huawei is evaluating the impact of Google's suspension of business on overseas markets.".
