Nubia Alpha, the first mass production curved flexible screen mobile phone, was officially released. This product, which was unveiled in Barcelona MWC2019, finally met consumers in all its forms with a new paradigm of smart life defined by a flexible screen wrist camera. Nubia Alpha is equipped with a 4.01 "curved flexible screen, and the volley interaction mode, bionic design super logic OS and eSIM card free communication function have brought a different sensory experience to this new product.

Nubian officials call this device a flexible screen wrist camera. Alpha is indeed not a conventional smart phone, but it is also different from a smart watch. What is wrist movement? Intuitively, it is "the mobile phone on the wrist" - indeed, it describes the wearing and use of Nubia Alpha. Of course, Nubia does not directly "tie" a large mobile phone screen to the user's wrist.

Nubia uses a flexible foldable screen. Compared with the small screen of a traditional smart watch, Nubia Alpha's 4-inch flexible large screen has 960 × 192 high resolution, high brightness that can be clearly seen even in strong light, and the same high color gamut and high contrast as other high-end mobile phones.

When the flexible OLED screen up to 4 inches naturally bends along with the organically designed watch body and fits on the user's wrist, it will really bring a sensory experience different from that of traditional intelligent wearable devices.

Of course, Nubia Alpha is not only a breakthrough in hardware, but also brings a new "α OS", as well as a "super dimensional logic" specially designed for the flexible screen wrist camera.

First of all, α OS largely abandons the complicated tree like functional structure, adjusts the functional blocks of the whole machine to be more flat, and creatively realizes the interface display mode of infinite circulation and direct expansion of superior and subordinate functions in each category. In this way, users can minimize the click operation. In most of the time, they can control the "wrist mechanism" only by sliding back and forth, left and right, and realize the return operation by simply pinching two fingers.

Nubiaal is also equipped with a dedicated hardware gesture sensor, which can control the "flying gesture" interaction logic of the device by simply waving the palm across the screen.

Nubia Alpha also cooperated with Unicom, It has become the first batch of new eSIM products in China. With the independent networking function brought by eSIM, Nubia Alpha can now enjoy the communication experience of independent numbers or "one number and two terminals". This means that it is different from those smart watches that must be paired with a mobile phone to function. They can be used independently from the mobile phone, or continue to send and receive messages and make calls through the "wrist phone" when the user does not have a mobile phone.

Of course, as a full-featured "wrist phone", Nubia Alpha will certainly not lose the functions most commonly used on smartphones: map positioning, mobile payment, music playing, health monitoring, etc. Especially thanks to the independent networking function of eSIM, it has become the most versatile wearable form device in WeChat. Send and receive voice messages, view emoticons and gif pictures, receive red packets... and even the WeChat video function, which is rarely seen on current wearable devices.

Nubia Alpha certainly has the function of photography. It is equipped with a customized 5 megapixel camera with an 82 degree wide-angle lens and a 1.25 micron pixel size. This camera has the function of adjustable view angle. Whether it is taking a selfie, a person or a landscape, turn your wrist, drag the screen, and then click anywhere on the screen to automatically activate the shutter. Of course, camera filters, video recording and other functions are also worth mentioning.

Nubia Alpha has two versions, Earl Black and Streamer Gold, which are made of 316L stainless steel, and Streamer Gold has an 18K gold plating process. The price is 3499 yuan for the Earl Black version and 4499 yuan for the Liuguang Gold version.
