The reason why Apple products left a good impression on me at the beginning was that I had used this MacBook Air for nearly six years, and it was very bumpy, but it didn't fall off the chain once. In those days, the appearance design of MBA was very impressive and looked very thin. Although the thickest part is thicker than the MacBook Pro, the visual impression is very good. Even today, it is not outdated.

At that time, the logo could be lit up. I miss this design very much. Today, Apple's logo does not have a belief lamp. It's a pity~

The interface of the old MacBook Air is relatively rich. Two conventional USB 3.0, without adapter, make it easier to use. There is also an SD card reader, which can be read directly after taking photos, as well as a lightning interface and 3.5mm headphone hole. However, the lightning interface has hardly been used in the past six years. After all, lightning equipment used to be few and expensive, I have only tried to use it to connect external monitors.

The Magsafe 2 charging port is also very pleasing. It is magnetically attached and easily docked. It also has an indicator light that turns green when it is fully charged, so you can know at a glance whether it is fully charged. This design is also very memorable because it is safe to use, and you never have to worry about someone tripping over it. The current USB-C charging is not as good as it is in terms of both the sense of insertion and safety. However, in view of keeping pace with the times, it is better to look forward rather than stay in the past.

Moreover, the charging head has the advantage that it can store the cables well and be easy to carry. It would be great if the current MacBook charging head also had this design.

But the screen of MacBook Air is the most unsuitable place for me now. It is 13.3-inch, with a resolution of 1440 x 900, and a TN screen. The viewing angle is not satisfactory. As long as the viewing angle is slightly changed, the whole screen will be white, but if it is facing directly, it is OK.

This 13 inch MacBook Air is the minimum configuration version, with 1.3GHz dual core i5, HD5000 core display, 4GB memory, 128GB SSD, and Geekbench running points lower than many mobile phones today, but actually it doesn't feel so low when used.

Photoshop is easy to edit, and Chrome has no problem opening many web pages（ Considering that it only has 4GB of memory ）You can even use it to cut a video. Of course, forget Pr. iMovie can still solve the problem.

What's more, this MacBook Air six years ago can still be upgraded to the latest macOS Mojave, with all kinds of new functions. I also feel that Apple's optimization of the notebook is good, not like the old iPhone, which reduces the frequency and then crashes.

I also like the old backlit keyboard. It has a key range, which makes typing more feel. Over the years, all keys still work normally. There has never been any problem with the touchpad, but it is a little small. After all, today's MacBook series touchpads are very large, and gesture operations are still flowing, which has exploded Windows.

In any case, even such an old MacBook Air can still meet 73% of my needs today, which is really good. The endurance performance is OK, and it is OK to stick to it for several hours. It is very comfortable to use it occasionally to code text and surf the Internet.

Many people may ask, why not replace it with the latest iPad Pro? Gangzhen, if I choose this MacBook Air or iPad Pro for office work, I will definitely choose the former without hesitation. After all, the iPad is still a tablet after all, and its productivity can't beat that of a notebook. It is convenient to use Baidu Cloud and Xunlei next movie occasionally.
