The color temperature of default mode and enhancement mode is relatively cold. The color temperature of standard mode is close to D65 standard, and the color basically covers sRGB. The color accuracy performance is best in standard mode. The objective data on the screen performs well at this price.

It can be seen from the Geekbench 4 single core that there is a gap between 710 and 670, and it is stronger than the frequency reduced version 660 and 636. In terms of multi-core, the gap between 710, 670 and full frequency 660 is small, and they are still ahead of the reduced frequency versions 660 and 636. The results of 710, 670 and 660 single cores are ladder shaped, and there is little difference in multi-core performance. I have to sigh that Qualcomm's scalpel can control the same multi-core performance and the difference in single core performance when the number of cores is different.


Qualcomm's scalpel is really powerful. The performance of Adreno GPUs is clearly differentiated, and there is no cross level transcendence. The 660GPU is still inferior to 710 and 670, and better than 660 (reduced frequency version) and 636. However, there is a big gap between Qualcomm and its flagship. Qualcomm has always castrated GPUs for good CPUs on midrange SoCs.


Hongmi Note 7 is equipped with 6GB LPDDR4 memory and 64GB eMMC5.1 flash memory. The memory is weaker than Lenovo Z5 Pro and vivo X23. All aspects of flash memory are at the normal level of eMMC5.1. The file system uses ext4, so the random write speed is not as fast as Xiaomi Max3, which uses the f2fs file system.

In terms of performance, the full blooded Snapdragon 660 of Red Rice Note 7 is better than the 660 and 636 of the incomplete blooded version both in CPU and GPU. There is still a gap between 710 and 670 in CPU single core and GPU. Overall performance Snapdragon 710>Snapdragon 670>Snapdragon 660 (full blood version)>660 (reduced frequency version)>636. Snapdragon 710, 670 and 660 have more than these differences. 710 and 670 are 10nm chips. The CPU core is based on ARM A75 architecture. The small core is based on ARM A55 architecture, while 660 is based on 14nm. The CPU core is based on ARM A73 architecture. The small core is based on ARM A53 architecture. Under the same performance, 710 and 670 save more power than 660. Moreover, the 660 does not support LPDDR4X memory, so we can look forward to the upgrade of Hongmi Note 7 Pro to Snapdragon 710 next year.

The current version does not support the super night view. Xiaomi promises to add the super night view game method through OTA push later, so the super night view is not enabled in this evaluation. 48 million yuan should be manually switched in professional mode.


First of all, let's compare the difference between Samsung GM1's output of 12 million and 48 million. First, the image capacity is less than 4 megabytes, while 48 million has reached 12 megabytes, doubling the capacity. The overall appearance of the photo is the same, regardless of exposure, white balance and saturation.


Zoom in to see the details. The 48 million mode sharpening has a slight sharpening trace. The analytical power is not better than 12 million. On the contrary, the dark part is full of color noise, and the smearing is serious.


These two pictures are also very close in appearance, and the same is true when you zoom in. There is no big difference. There are more 48 million noise points, and the sharpening is obvious. The analytical power is less than 12 million. There are still many dark noise points. In conclusion, the 48 million yuan on the red rice note 7 has not improved much analytical power, and the appearance of the photo is almost the same. On the contrary, the dark part will increase color noise when it is opened. It is recommended to output photos with only 12 million pixels.

Compare the honor V20 (IMX586) with similar parameters

Red rice Note 7 is a bit red. The exposure of Glory V20 was higher than that of Red Rice Note 7, which restored the afternoon of that day very well, and its tolerance was better than that of Red Rice Note 7.


Zoom in to see the details. First, compare the above two 12 megapixel photos, Red rice Note 7 has less analytical power than Glory V20. Note 7 is heavily smeared and has lost dark details. Moreover, V20 shows greater tolerance and has more dark details. Compared with 48 million pixels, V20's analytical power can be said to crush Note 7, and it looks more natural. From the above comparison, it can be seen that the GM1 on red rice in the daytime scene, whether it outputs 12 million or 48 million yuan, is inferior to the glorious IMX586.
