Apple supplier: Qualcomm's request for banning iPhone sales has not affected mobile phone production

Love to play computer games On December 17, it was reported that Ted Boutrous, the lawyer representing Foxconn, Heshuo, Wistron and Compal, the four Apple suppliers, was interviewed today. Ted Boutrous said that the Fuzhou court had previously ruled that some iPhones could not be sold in the mainland, which did not affect the normal production of the four suppliers. Qualcomm was just trying to divert the public's attention, because the latter would face several lawsuits in the future.

Ted Boutrous said that Qualcomm will face three important lawsuits in the United States next. In January next year, the Federal Trade Commission will hear Qualcomm's antitrust case. In the spring of 2019, Apple and suppliers will start to hear Qualcomm's lawsuit, and consumers will sue Qualcomm for claims.

Last Friday, Apple said that it would upgrade all iPhones that infringe Qualcomm's patents in China, because the ban only affects phones running iOS 12 or below. The patents that Apple is suspected of infringing involve "resizing photos" and "managing applications". However, Apple has previously said that this case only applies to iPhones running iOS 11, and all models mentioned in the judgment of the Fuzhou court have been upgraded to iOS 12, so Apple has not violated Qualcomm's patents.
