As an important year-end meeting of Huawei Smart Selection, Huawei officials not only released the AIoT ecological strategy, but also held a grand ribbon cutting ceremony for Huawei Ark Laboratory, the world's largest consumer field IoT laboratory, and invited the media to jointly taste Huawei Smart Selection's new ecological products. Strategic upgrading Huawei's AIoT ecological strategy was announced for the first time

In recent years, with IoT becoming an important outlet after the Internet, many technology giants and SMEs have launched a layout around IoT. Huawei has launched a multi-dimensional layout in the IoT field around the overall strategic vision. At the meeting on the afternoon of 26th, Huawei's AIoT ecological strategy was officially announced. Huawei will build a rich product ecology from the three levels of entry, connection and ecology, and use "HiLink+HiAi" as the technical enabler to support the product ecology.

Zhu Yonggang, CMO of Huawei's consumer business, said: "Huawei will create a three circle ecosystem in terms of entrance, with mobile phones as the main entrance, supplemented by tablets, PCs, wearables, HD, AI speakers, headsets, VR, car phones, etc., plus pan IoT hardware, including lighting, security, environment, cleaning, etc., covering more than 500 million users worldwide, covering more than 130 countries, regions and 77 languages; In terms of connection, Huawei focuses on the connection of individuals, families, offices, cars and other full scenarios. Up to now, it has connected 300 million devices and 200 million families, and has also reached cooperation with 15 top automobile brands in the world; In terms of ecology, Huawei is also growing at a high speed. At present, 200 manufacturers in more than 100 categories have joined Huawei's AIoT ecosystem.

In terms of technology enabling, Huawei will build the "Mandarin" of intelligent devices with the help of HUAWEI HiLink standards and protocols, break the "Tower of Babel" between products of different brands, and truly realize interconnection.

HUAWEI HiLink covers the cloud, edge, end and core four layer architecture. In terms of chips, it provides end-to-end differentiated chip level security capabilities, and will launch Huawei IoT chips with ultra-low power consumption and high performance in 2019; On the end side, continue to optimize Lite OS. The kernel is only 10K in size, achieving higher energy efficiency, resource saving and lower cost; On the edge side, 20 million intelligent routes are deployed globally; On the cloud side, Huawei's IoT cloud platform can achieve millisecond response, covering more than 100 countries and regions around the world.

With the help of HUAWEI HiAi technology, Huawei will bring more computing power, richer scenario APIs and support more terminals, making applications more intelligent and powerful. The whole scene smart life ecology that Huawei wants to create is an open ecology. Facing the whole ecosystem, the HUAWEI HiAi smart terminal computing platform will provide technology openness at the core, end and cloud levels, enabling global partners.

In the near future, Huawei will connect 1 billion users, 2 billion connections, and the entire ecological scale is expected to reach 100 billion. Huawei will become one of the most important growth businesses in addition to consumer phones.

R&D enables Ark Lab to become a new engine for R&D speed increase

At the event site, Huawei executives held a ribbon cutting ceremony for Huawei's Ark Lab, which has attracted much attention from the industry. This is also the first time Huawei's Ark Lab has made an appearance. In Huawei's AIoT ecological strategy, Ark Lab will empower the certification and R&D of ecological partner products.

 

It is understood that the Ark Laboratory is located in the training center J1 of Huawei Bantian Base, covering an area of about 1000 square meters. It is the world's largest IoT laboratory in the consumer field, and the only laboratory in the industry that provides many professional capabilities. It has planned four areas, namely: product certification area, joint innovation area, product exhibition area and scene development area.

 

Among them, the product certification area is eight closed meeting rooms with a full set of environments. Partners can realize the rapid integrated development of HUAWEI HiLink under the condition of confidentiality and no mutual influence, which can greatly shorten the introduction cycle of ecological products, which can be completed in 2-3 weeks at the earliest; The joint innovation zone consists of eight semi open comfortable spaces, where Huawei and its partners can jointly define product functions and innovative application scenarios for the user experience of each product category; The product exhibition area can intuitively present the certification results of HUAWEI HiLink ecological products, and Huawei can work with partners to study the experience of offline display of products; The scene development zone can be used to simulate the use of single products and scene linkage in the actual home environment, and improve the efficiency of scene replacement. This block also solves the collaboration problem of cross brand products in the industry, making the beginning of product design, that is, starting from the user's actual use scenario, verify the actual experience of their own products and other brand products in the real environment.

As Huawei's most important meeting at the end of the year in the field of IoT, Huawei AI speakers, Huawei Routing WS5200 Plus, and four Huawei smart ecological new products were invited to the industry media for evaluation. They became the best witnesses of Huawei's construction of ecological portals and in-depth cooperation with ecological partners.

As one of the strategic entrances, Huawei AI speakers can realize the single product control of Huawei's smart choice of ecological products, as well as the scenario based smart home control. Huawei Routing WS5200 Plus has achieved a 60% increase in 2.4GHz Wi Fi performance, a 25% increase in 5GHz Wi Fi performance, and a further 30% increase in 5GHz Wi Fi coverage.

 

The four new Huawei smart selection ecological products, namely, 720 full effect air purifier, auk AI panoramic camera, Haoen smart home suit, and Huitailong smart fingerprint lock, were jointly created by Huawei and its ecological partners in Huawei's Ark Laboratory. Among them, the 720 full effect air purifier has realized APP remote control and enriched intelligent control functions, making the "intelligence" of user products more intuitive; The Seafinch AI panoramic camera is equipped with Hisense professional security chip and adopts Huawei cloud algorithm to intelligently identify faces, human shapes and baby cries; Howen Smart Home Suite not only provides security support in family safety, but also realizes various smart device linkage and smart life scenarios through the HUAWEI HiLink platform; Huitailong intelligent fingerprint lock has a built-in Sweden FPC fingerprint head with 360 degree identification fingerprint. It adopts a higher security level C-level lock cylinder and a true plug cylinder design. The unique lock tongue design can realize real-time monitoring and pushing of the door lock status.
