Realme was originally one of OPPO's sub brands, focusing on the overseas mobile phone market. This brand was officially founded in May this year, and then announced to operate independently from OPPO's parent company. Madhav Seth, CEO of Realme India, said to the media at the IMC 2018 annual meeting: "The next Realme phone will use the Helio P70 chipset, which will come soon." He also said that the price of this phone will change, but it will not be the successor of Realme 2 or Realme 2 Pro.

The Helio P70 of MediaTek was officially released on October 24 this year, targeting the high-end series. Compared with the previous generation P60, its parameter specifications have not changed much. The TSMC 12nm FinFET process is also used, with four A73 cores (main frequency 2.1Ghz) and four A53 cores (main frequency 2.0Ghz), integrated with ARM Mali G72 GPU, with a frequency of 900Mhz. In terms of AI performance, Helio P70 also has a multi-core APU with a maximum frequency of 525Mhz. Officially, the AI data processing efficiency of the P70 is 10% to 30% higher than that of the previous P60.
