Mr. Chen Zhengwei mentioned that in 2018, Smart Micro Technology successfully launched JMS583, JMS901 and JMB585 chips, making Smart Micro shine in the market. From 2019 to 2020, the next generation new product numbers of Smart Micro Technology are JMS59X, JMS581 and JMS586. JMS59X is an upgraded version based on 393/394. It is tentatively planned to launch the reference in Q4 next year. The new single chip scheme is mainly promoted to upgrade all SATA interfaces to 6Gb/s, optimize the internal RAID engine, and support the new generation of HDD/SSD (4kn).

The other JMS581 is also designed as a single chip and supports offline one click file copying. The last is JMS586. JMS586 adds protocol support for USB 3.2 (20Gbps), PCIe/NVMe Gen3 x4 (32Gbps), and the maximum read/write speed can reach 2200MB/s.
