Many people once asked me: "Have you ever seen an advertising maniac?", "Advertising maniacs rarely see, but advertising maniacs are seen every day.".

What do you mean? I believe that you have more or less heard of the built-in advertising of mobile phone system, especially in domestic mobile phones, where Flyme and MIUI are the most famous and users complain the most.

Not long ago, someone on Weibo asked what the ads in these systems were like? After being asked by this man, I found that I had not yet experienced these advertisements. Then I opened the huge drawer beside the table, took out three mobile phones Meizu 15, Xiaomi 8 SE and Glory Play, and began to explore.

Meizu 15's system has been upgraded to Flyme 7, based on Android 7.0—— 7 + 7 = ? Generally, advertisements will appear in the system's own apps, such as app stores, music, videos, and so on.

First, open the app store and enter "WeChat" in the search box. At this time, the first result is not the app, but the advertisement, followed by the correct result. Then there are more advertisements below it, almost the whole page is ad.

Weather can also be regarded as a built-in software used frequently by mobile phones. In Flyme, it also does not escape from advertising

Wallet and Pace App, the former can not only be used to bind bank cards, recharge phone charges and pay, but also can make unsecured loans, providing you with up to 200000 yuan. The latter can not only be used to record the number of walking steps, but also can buy corresponding insurance for their own health, which can be said to make the best use of everything. I hope Apple can also learn from iOS 13.

What I can't understand is why Flyme always pops up advertisements when using voice assistant. When I first used it, I was amazed that advertisements can still play like this!

As a tool to access the Internet, the browser has been attacked by advertisements. A better solution is to bring your own Browser as a passer-by and install Chrome as a king.

Is there any solution? Yes, but it can only cure the symptoms, not the root causes. In the built-in apps of these systems, you can turn off the "Push Wonderful Content" option in their settings interface. If you like to watch ads, Flyme also has a hand for you. In some app settings, you can find the option of "opening screen ads". After opening the app, you can enjoy the impact of large screen ads every time you open the app~

Before&After Closing

Before&After Closing

Yes, you are right. In the calendar app, even after the content push is turned off, the garbage still exists. Many users manage their itinerary on their mobile phones. Generally speaking, the calendar app provided by the system can meet common needs, but for them, this is not the case. Open the calendar and slide down a little, you can see many irrelevant content here. When this advertisement appears under your private schedule, it will inevitably give people a feeling of not being OK.

It is also a pity that even if the "wonderful content push" is turned off, the content marked with "advertisement" will still exist. When you search for applications, use voice assistant, and surf the Internet in the browser, those things will still be with you, and you can only get used to them.

Of course, compared with Flyme, MIUI is also the best way.

Many of the apps that come with the system have screen opening advertisements. Compared with the devastation of large games on SoC, screen opening advertisements are the culprit that leads to the slow opening speed of applications. It is very annoying to add a 3 second screen opening advertisement to the original 1.5 second opening time.

In the music app, Xiaomi's practice is even worse. When you click the play button, an advertisement will appear on the cover. It is hard to avoid doubt: is this a fake app? Advertisements also appear when searching for apps in the app store.

Video&music interface after closing all options

However, compared with Flyme, MIUI has a few points of conscience. For example, there is basically no excessive advertising in the self built apps of Xiaoai Voice Assistant, Weather and Calendar. Secondly, in terms of closing advertising, MIUI needs to be more thorough. In addition to the option of "pushing wonderful content", it also provides the option of turning off "advertising display" and "online service". After all of them are turned off, not only the interface is cleaner, there is no junk content, and there is no open screen advertising, but also the magic ads found in the music playing interface have disappeared.

Finally, I picked up Glory Play. There are still few advertisements in EMUI. Except in the browser, there seems to be no other places. However, it is unclear whether it has adopted a more cynical approach. For example, when searching for "WeChat" in its app store, Flyme and MIUI will mark the "probe" displayed on the same screen as an advertisement, but in EMUI, there is no trace of this tag, so

Smartisan OS and hydrogen OS do a good job in this respect. There are relatively few advertisements, and they do not give me a sense of being too abrupt. If you are a user, you can also brush oxygen OS, which will never cause trouble.

In fact, I am very opposed to advertising on the mobile phone system. Although I can understand that after all, Internet brand profits are not high, and advertising can be a bit bloody to some extent, I have to say that when there are too many ads on the system, it will inevitably leave users a feeling of "LOW LOW"~they have spent money to buy a mobile phone to use it, and they have to endure this kind of Bullshit.

If they are presented in an elegant way, they may not be particularly resistant. In fact, many advertisements appear in front of users simply and rudely, such as Flyme's voice assistant and MIUI's music playing.

Moreover, the ancient people often said that: customers are God, even if it is hard, do not suffer users. I believe that those advertisers in the past never thought they could play like this now.
