Old users praise angrily! China Mobile Unicom wants to cry! Shenzhen Consumer Council: "unlimited" package should be cool

Love to play computer games On June 15, it was reported that the Shenzhen Municipal Consumer Committee (hereinafter referred to as the Shenzhen Municipal Consumer Committee) had recently issued a document criticizing the "unlimited traffic package" launched by three major telecom operators. The Shenzhen Municipal Consumer Committee said that operators were exaggerating the "unlimited" traffic package, but weakening the important restriction of "speed limit", which was a "misleading omission", "Unlimited data package" is not really "unlimited".

The Shenzhen Municipal Consumer Affairs Committee said that Article 20 of the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Protection of the Rights and Interests of Consumers stipulates that "business operators shall provide consumers with true and comprehensive information about the quality, performance, use, validity period and other information of goods or services, and shall not make false or misleading publicity." Although China has not imposed criminal penalties for similar acts, However, the three major operators have violated consumers' right to know.

It is understood that the "unlimited traffic package" launched by the three major operators all has restrictions, but their official home page's campaign map does not indicate that consumers will be limited after reaching a certain amount of traffic, and in the tariff details page, only small print is used to mark this situation, which makes it easy for users to ignore this important information.

Several users recently complained to the Shenzhen Municipal Committee of Consumer Affairs about this "unlimited traffic package". According to one user, he handled the unlimited traffic package of China Mobile, and wanted to change back to the original package after finding that the traffic usage exceeded 20GB, but was told that it could not be changed. The Shenzhen Municipal Committee of Consumer Affairs requires the three major operators to clearly mark the restrictive conditions of "unlimited flow package" to prevent similar situations. The Shenzhen Municipal Committee of Consumer Affairs will continue to supervise this matter.
