Ten days after the Louvre conference in Paris, OPPO finally officially released OPPO Find X in China. This is the most boldly designed mobile phone this year. The fully hidden 3D camera, the gradient 3D glass back cover, and the 93.8% screen share record have pushed the look of Find X to another height. Let's take a look at the real machine now.
Before enjoying the pictures, let's review the hardware parameters:
93.8% screen proportion, upper frame 1.91mm, lower frame 3.4mm, side frame 1.65mm
6.42 inch 2340 * 1080 AMOLED hyperbolic screen
Double track periscope type fully hidden 3D camera, main camera 2000W+1600W (supporting optical anti shake), front 2500W, all with f/2.0 aperture
Snapdragon 845, full 8GB memory
128GB standard version, 4999 yuan
256GB super flash charging version, 5999 yuan
Lamborghini version is 512GB storage, 9999 yuan
In addition to the standard version of 3730mAh and VOOC flash charge, the other two versions are dual 1700mAh cells and SuperVOOC flash charge
Bordeaux
Two of the antenna cut slots were made at the junction of the dual track periscope structure, and OPPO was able to add plastic washers at the edge of the screen.
Find X inherits the top and bottom groove design on the R11s last year
Double track periscope structure closes and rises. Bordeaux red version is closer to purple under strong light, with light edge color and dark middle color, and it has a visual effect of "the border seems to glow".
The back is 3D glass. This special 3D laminated streamer stippling process looks like a mirror on the side. The "periscope" part has different treatments. There is no camera, fingerprint identification or any opening on the back. There is only a seam narrower than the previous iPhone white belt antenna. The overall cobblestone effect is very thorough.
Ice Perry Blue
The width of the chin of the AMOLED screen packaged in COP is very close to that of the iPhone X, 93.8% of which is touching.
The infrared fill light and infrared camera are hidden below the left side of the earpiece, and the front camera and dot matrix transmitter with 25 million pixels are on the right side.
The design of Find X is all around curves. The only place where the whole machine is "square" is the hidden camera+face recognition component. Even though the space is very tight, OPPO still adds a screen washer and a "double earpiece design". These micro components make the phone look very delicate. In addition, because the screen is curved, the gorilla 5th generation glass in this lifting part is also curved.
This is the coolest part of the whole machine. The internal frame is very long and deep, so it is easy to accumulate dust. Even if all kinds of quality tests are OK, it will still be a difficult place to take care of at ordinary times.
Ice blue version, the effect of camera closing and raising
Both front and back glasses have extremely narrow gaskets, which are extremely fine and can hardly be detected by normal holding. The metal frame is very thin, with a large arc, extending down to the back cover. It feels very light and thin, which is totally different from a 9.6mm thick mobile phone. Its round body and holding experience can be summarized by the famous saying: "It feels really good".
Dual track periscope camera, double camera with 20 million+16 million pixels on the back, central flash
Ice blue is also a light color on the edge, and the setting of dark color in the middle makes the effect of "the frame seems to be shining" more obvious. The previous gradient process on OPPO R15 has exploded on Find X.
On the left side of the bottom of the fuselage are speakers and microphones, as well as OPPO's first Type-C connector. The sim card slot on the right side is also designed according to the bottom groove shape. Virgo is very satisfied.
Multi computer comparison
After the camera is raised, the effect is very scientific. The black part of the A screen is really black, which reminds me of the old S6 edge+.
Contrast the top frame, Find X on the left, MIX 2S on the bottom, S9 on the right+
Although the Find X is actually a double forehead phone, the upper border is still narrower than the MIX 2S.
Bottom frame contrast, Find X at the top left, MIX 2S at the bottom, S9 at the top right+
The gap between the lower borders is more obvious. It should be noted that the S9+is also COP packaged, but Samsung has not made it chinless, which may be more for the design of symmetry.
Frame thickness contrast, Left Find X, Right S9+
Both are curved screen phones, but the curvature of the Samsung S9+is larger, and the side frame is slightly narrower when viewed from the front.
