On May 3, 2018, Xiaomi officially submitted its prospectus and will be listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Xiaomi may become the first high-tech company listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange this year after the Hong Kong Stock Exchange implemented the policy of "the same share but different rights".

Eight years after its establishment in 2010, Xiaomi embarked on the road of listing, and the rumors of listing before "finally" came true. According to the prospectus submitted by Xiaomi, the total revenue in 2017 reached 114.6 billion yuan, up 67.5% from 68.4 billion yuan in 2016, and the revenue in 2015 was 66.8 billion yuan. It is worth noting that Lei Jun publicly stated in the Xiaomi 6X press conference before submitting the prospectus that the comprehensive profit of Xiaomi's hardware will never exceed 5%. According to the data in the prospectus, the comprehensive profit rate of Xiaomi in 2017 was 4.7% and the gross profit rate was 13.2%, which is indeed within this range. It seems that Lei is always ready.

Previously, because the Hong Kong Stock Exchange did not implement the policy of "same share but different rights", Alibaba finally went to the United States for listing. This time, Xiaomi's IPO was of great significance and attracted many people's attention. Now the biggest problem is how much Xiaomi's valuation is.
