In the prospectus issued by Xiaomi, Xiaomi announced the performance of several businesses of the company in the past three years. Among them, the sales volume of Xiaomi mobile phones in 2017 was 91.41 million, with an average price of only 881.3 yuan. The smartphone business generated about 80.564 billion yuan of revenue for Xiaomi last year, accounting for 70.3% of its total revenue.

Although the average price of Xiaomi smart phones is less than 900 yuan, it still shows an increasing trend every year. From the data, the volume of Xiaomi mobile phones is still the red rice mobile phones with less than 1000 yuan. In 2017, 72% of the company's income came from mainland China, which means that the consumption level of mainland Xiaomi audience is low.

According to Xiaomi's prospectus, from 2016 to 2017, Xiaomi's smartphone business revenue increased by 65.2%, while from 2015 to 2016, it decreased by 9.2%. In all the branches of Xiaomi, the income of smart phones occupies an absolute dominant position, but the income share of the Internet of Things and consumer products is increasing year by year, reaching 20.5% in 2017.
