MWC2018 is a continuous stream of new products. Even MediaTek, which has been silent for a while, has released a new SoC - Helio P60. This chip is not MediaTek's flagship series, but it has an artificial intelligence processor NeuroPilot.
Helio P60 uses TSMC's 12nm FinFET process. It is an eight core CPU, composed of four core Cortex-A73 2.0GHz and four core Cortex-A53 2.0GHz. It supports ARM's HMP technology. MediaTek officially claims that its performance is 70% higher than that of P23. Large games save 25% electricity, and the overall power consumption is 12%.
P60 also caters to the current development trend and joins the Edge AI platform. It can achieve 280GMAC processing capacity and can match the Android NNAPI to support mainstream AI architecture.
The P60 is equipped with a three core ISP, supporting 20 million pixels+16 million pixels dual camera, 4K video recording, and up to 16 million pixels 90fps video. New functions such as 3D digital noise reduction and real-time HDR are supported in photography.
The P60 integrates the All Netcom baseband, supports dual card dual standby, 2X2 CA and other technologies, the maximum downlink rate reaches LTE Cat. 7, and supports Bluetooth 4.2.
In addition, Helio P60 also has Mali-G72MP3 800MHz graphics processor, up to 8G LPDDR4x (compatible with LPDDR3) 1800MHz memory, and supports eMMC 5.1 and UFS 2.1 flash memory. Up to 20:9 full HD display resolution is supported.
