After the "frequency down gate", Apple has not yet been able to take a break. On February 2, Apple announced the "iPhone 7 Maintenance Plan for" No Service "Problems" on its official website, which is an official solution to the "No Service" problem of the popular iPhone 7 product that has been on the market for more than a year. The iPhone 7 involved in the problem of no service this time includes three models: A1660, A1780, and A1779. A total of Chinese, Hong Kong, Macao, American, and Japanese versions have been affected, which can be said to be a global problem. The specific situation is that the failure of a component on the motherboard causes iPhone 7 to have no service. The products sold from September 2016 to February 2018 (that is, all retail versions of the corresponding version of iPhone 7 may encounter problems at the deadline) may have problems.
Apple's solution is simple. Go to Apple's authorized service provider and Apple Store retail store for direct maintenance (excluding wireless operator partners). If users have paid for maintenance due to this problem, Apple will also give corresponding compensation. Although Apple's handling method is more active and responsible, it is really inappropriate to find a hardware problem with a mobile phone that was launched in September 2016.
The official text version of the iPhone 7 repair plan for "no service" problems is as follows:
Apple has confirmed that due to a component failure on the motherboard, a small number of iPhone 7 devices may display "No Service" in the status bar (even within the coverage of cellular mobile signals).
These affected equipment were manufactured between September 2016 and February 2018, and were sold in Mainland China, Hong Kong, Japan, Macao, China and the United States. Please refer to the table below to find out which iPhone 7 models this program applies to.
If your device has the above symptoms, Apple will repair your device for free. Before providing any service, technicians will check your iPhone to verify whether your device meets the conditions of this plan. This plan only applies to iPhone 7.
Apple will contact customers who may have paid for the repair due to this problem via email to arrange compensation. If you think that you have paid for the repair due to this problem, and have not received Apple's email until the end of March 2018, please contact Apple.
The following three models meet the requirements of this plan. You can view the model on the back of the iPhone 7.
A1660, A1780 Mainland China
