U11+is a minor revision of U11's overall screen, with the biggest features of color and back cover technology. It provides red, black, bright silver (actually blue) and perspective black, a total of four colors. The perspective black has a gradual transparent effect, and you can see the NFC coil inside (yes, it is not a wireless charging coil, and U11+does not support wireless charging), which is very cool.

Brightness: The measured maximum brightness is 389 nits, the difference between different parts of the screen is below 15 nits, and the uniformity is good; The minimum brightness of all white is 2.67 nits, and the brightness suppression is good.
Viewing angle/reflection: The viewing angle is general, the reflective rate of the screen panel is high, the angle is red, and the brightness drops obviously.
Contrast/color temperature: U11+has a contrast of 2204:1 at a brightness close to 100 nits in daily use, which performs well. The machine provides two color gamut modes (DCI-P3 and sRGB), each of which can independently and steplessly adjust the temperature of cold and warm colors. The color temperature of both modes is about 7000K, slightly warm and yellow.
Color gamut/color accuracy: The color gamut coverage of P3 mode is not very accurate. The color accuracy of P3 mode under P3 color gamut is OK, but it is doomed to kneel down under the more commonly used sRGB color gamut. SRGB mode has good color gamut coverage and color accuracy. For comparison, under sRGB, iPhone 7 is 1.6, Note5 is 1.8, S6 edge+is 2.6, and S7 edge is 2.9.

Although it is not a big problem, the UI part of the system is the most unsatisfactory part of HTC U11+. The HTC U11+system is Android 8.0. The system UI and native Android are huge, but localization has not been done yet. The interface and function focus are obviously different from the habits of domestic users.
The system features HTC's Side pressure sensing This time, it has been highly strengthened. The function can be customized, even in different apps. HTC U11+is equipped with Snapdragon 835, and only 6G+128 is available. The CPU performance is above average, and the tuning is active, but the memory latency is high; GPU performed well, and won or lost with Nubia Z17S and One Plus 5T. In terms of storage performance, the hardware speed of HTC U11+, the SK hynix 128G UFS, is the weakest among several comparable machines, and the basic performance is still below the 64G flash memory Z17S. U11+supports QC 3.0 fast charging, but its power is lower than the common 18W. It supports three output specifications, namely "5V/2.5A, 9V/1.7A, and 12V/1.25A", with a nominal maximum of 15.3W. The actual charging power of the bright screen and the off screen is around 14.7W, which is also average.
The actual charging rate is 5% - 100%, 23% in 15 minutes and 41% in 30 minutes. It takes 1 hour and 50 minutes to fully charge. The charging speed is close to that of Note 8 (after all, the battery is large and the power is not high).
